The unseen Liverpool impact of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino revealed

Andy Robertson has revealed the “big difference” Liverpool's forward line make away from the field.

Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino were among a group of players who returned to pre-season training on Monday for the training camp in Evian.

Jurgen Klopp hasn't ruled out the pair starting Sunday's Community Shield against Manchester City at Wembley after they impressed during the 3-1 win over Lyon in the Reds' final pre-season game on Wednesday.

Sadio Mane will on Monday become the final player to link up with the squad ahead of next Friday's Premier League opener at home to Norwich City.

And Robertson has revealed how the trio's influence on Liverpool isn't just confined to goals and assists.

“The forwards, the three of them, are massive characters, not only world class footballers, but massive characters in the squad,” said the left-back.

“It will make a big difference having them around, and it will be good to see them.

“We’ve welcomed back (Salah and Firmino) with open arms, it is good to see them, and we’ll have Sadio back a week later.”
