The Unlikely Hero of Room 13B by Teresa Toten – review

Teresa Toten, The Unlikely Hero of Room 13b

This book was an amazing read about the twists and turns of teenage life and the difficulty of living with OCD. Adam has OCD and his life is pretty much as normal as it can get until he meets the love of his life; Robyn Plummer. Adam is determined to be a hero for Robyn, determined to be Batman and save everyone he loves. But when his OCD gets worse and his life is crashing down around him, he realizes that maybe being a superhero isn't that easy after all? This book has lots of twists and turns and, with a complex plot and several storylines, it will be almost impossible to put down!

I would recommend this book to teenagera who are fans of John Green and Rainbow Rowell because the writing style is very similar but with its own quirky twist. This book is a page-turner and sure to be a huge hit with young adults. I am hoping for a sequel as this book made me laugh, cry, think, and kept me coming back for more. I would give this a 9/10 and would recommend you look out for this author as there are sure to be many good books to come.
