The unique attraction which launched at Bristol's Cribbs Causeway this weekend

There are plenty of cracking visitor attractions all over Bristol designed to entertain people of all ages - but none quite like the one opening this weekend.

Today (November 2), Upside Down House is launched  its fourth site in the UK at The Mall, Cribbs Causeway.

The shopping centre's topsy-turvy new feature is a hybrid of street art and experiential entertainment, says the team behind it.

It will create a zero-gravity illusion experience and a unique photo opportunity in a safe, family friendly environment with an inverted pastel pink wooden structure and a dark grey roof.

The house is arranged over two storeys and fully furnished with a kitchen, bathroom, living room art and bedroom, all decorated in a modern style.

Visitors are invited to walk on the ceiling, lose themselves going downstairs and let their imagination run riot as they take pictures which will leave their friends scratching their heads.

Tom Dirse, CEO of Upside Down House UK, said: "We are really excited to open our latest house in Bristol and continue our relationship with intu (The Mall's owners).

"It’s an experience like no other; everyone should walk on the ceiling at least once in their life. We’re really looking forward to seeing how inventive people can be while capturing their visit."

As the seasons change, so will the Upside Down House.

An in-house interior designer will ensure visitors get the most diverse and realistic experience during the year, transforming it into a winter wonderland at Christmas, complete with inverted reindeers and colourful lights.

How much does it cost?

The Upside Down House's other locations in Brighton, Essex and Manchester - with one also due to open in London -have been described as 'fun and quirky' places which 'play with your mind'.

Tickets start from £3.50 per person and children under three go for free.

The house will be open daily from 10am - 8pm Monday to Wednesday, 10am - 9pm Thursday and Friday, 10am - 8pm on Saturday and 11am – 5pm on Sunday.
