The Undertaker makes winning WWE return at Super ShowDown to set up WrestleMania clash

WWE legend The Undertaker picked up a massive win at Super ShowDown as he triumphed in the Tuwaiq Trophy Gauntlet.

The Deadman flew out to Saudi Arabia to make a surprise appearance, and hadn't been seen in a WWE ring since an episode of SmackDown in September.

He was not booked or advertised to be part of the card at the Mohammed Abdu Arena in Riyadh, but won his first ever Tuwaiq Trophy in a dramatic turn of events.

The action began with R-Truth and Bobby Lashley, with Truth coming out on top until he submitted to AJ Styles.

Rey Mysterio was due to come out but Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson attacked him backstage. AJ looked set to win via forfeit, but the Undertaker then dramatically took out Gallows and Anderson backstage before chokeslamming AJ to seal with win.

It sets up a massive clash at Wrestlemania 36 between Taker and Styles.

AJ has been calling himself 'Mr WrestleMania', the nickname earned by Shawn Michaels, whose incredible career Undertaker ended in 2013.

All the way back in January 2018, ahead of Raw 25, Styles revealed to Mirror Sport that a match up with Taker at Mania was on his bucket list.

He told Mirror Sport's Neil Docking it would be a regret if he never got to stand across the ring from Taker, who at that stage was thought to be retired.

He is now due to face AJ Styles at WrestleMania (WWE)

Styles said: "I would love to be able to learn from someone like that, I don't know if he's retired, I don't know what's going on, but that would be a regret that I may not ever have the opportunity to get in the ring with him."

Taker has wrestled on four of the five shows since WWE struck a 10-year deal with the General Sports Authority of Saudi Arabia in 2018.
