He won the heart of the nation with his unflappable romantic nature and keenness to get a girlfriend and viewers were overjoyed when The Undateables' favourite, Daniel Wakeford, proposed to girlfriend Lily Taylor back in 2018.
But, the couple have now called off the wedding, Daniel told fans in a TikTok video.
Their wedding was meant to take place last year but was delayed due to the pandemic. Daniel, who shot to fame on the Channel 4 show and has toured with his band across the UK, said the pair were still mates, reports MirrorOnline.
In a video posted to his fans, he said: "It's Daniel Wakeford here. Listen, I just want to let you all know, because me and Lily are always being romantic for the last three years, but we decided to end our relationship together.
"So, me and Lily, we're friends, but I'm very good to be alone."
And Daniel, 32, warned all the women out there that he was single and ready to mingle this summer.
"But this summer, I might flirt with you, so watch out girls! And so, this is Daniel Wakeford. Until then, bye-bye for now," he added.
Daniel proposed to Lily in a sweet Christmas themed proposal back in 2018.
He got down on one knee in the show's festive special and sang All I Want For Christmas Is You to his bride to be as it was one of her favourite songs.
And fans were devastated to hear about the couple's split.
One wrote in the comments: "This breaks my heart! Hope you're ok."
Another added: "Aww Daniel I'm so sorry. I loved watching you on The Undateables. I hope you and Lily stay friends."
