Christmas 2021 is going to be a busy time as there's so much going on to make up for last year.

Fonmon Festival of Lights

Running until Christmas Eve, Fonmon's given the Christmas celebrations their all this year.
You'll get to visit the Santa Shows, The Enchanted Gardens, Dinosaur Walk and Fairy Village amongst others this Christmas.

Coca-Cola Truck

The big red truck from the advert is out on the road once more this year and it's back in Cardiff.
Tt will be in Cardiff on Thursday, December 9 and Friday, December 10 .
Like with the past few visits it will be outside St David's Shopping Centre and people can visit from 11am to 8pm each day.
Reindeer Trail at Bryngarw Country Park
A 30-40 minute trail on which you'll hunt for Father Christmas's reindeer.
Collect your map and a bag of reindeer food and then head out onto the trail to find the lost reindeer. It's free and the final search takes place on December 11 and 12.
Forage Farm Christmas Experience
An elf show, decoration making, marshmallow toasting and more up until December 23.

Pantomimes
There isn't a shortage of pantos being held at Welsh theatres this year ahead of the big day. Many have sold out, but keep an eye on the theatre's social channels for availability changes. Here's a list of what you can see and where:

Christmas at the Royal Mint
The Royal Mint Experience will be transformed into a magical workshop this Christmas covered in a dusting of snow and adorned with hundreds of lights, baubles and festive surprises.
Visitors will follow in Santa’s footsteps as he travels through the factory experience collecting coins for the nation’s stockings. They’ll be able to strike their own 50 pence featuring The Snowman, before exploring the unique 1,100-year history of The Royal Mint through interactive exhibitions and original artefacts.
The tours run from November 19 to Christmas Eve, with tickets priced at £15 per person. Parking on site is free and tours will run from 10am to 7pm, seven days a week. A special festive menu will be available at the café, with a range of Christmas treats, including mince pies and mulled wine.
Cardiff's Winter Wonderland

Cardiff's Winter Wonderland is back for Christmas 2021 after a year off in 2020 due to the pandemic.
The other good news is that it's back in its old location in the Civic Centre at the City Hall lawns where the fun fair and new Ice Bar will be. Cardiff Castle grounds will host the ice walk and ice rink this year and of course there'll be plenty of food and drinks on offer. Read all about it here.
Tickets are already on sale for this year's Winter Wonderland and it will run from Tuesday, November 16, to Monday, January 3.
It's not known what else will be there or how it will look but more details will be announced in the coming days.
Luminate at Margam Park
Wander at will through Margam's grounds and the castle as the gothic mansion and beautiful gardens in Neath Port Talbot are lit up for a mile-long trail.
The trail is open nightly from Thursday, November 18 until Sunday, January 2.
Tickets must be pre-booked, online in advance.

Santa's Grotto at Celtic Manor
Running on various dates throughout December, but mainly on the weekend, kids (and adults) will get an afternoon tea and little gift, along with a virtual visit from Father Christmas, at the resort, near Newport.

Reindeer Safari, Mold
Running from November 27 until Christmas Eve , the safari, which can be taken in the day or night, will be an immersive drive-through experience that will include a drive-in theatre show and over 1.3km of enchanted Christmas lighting trails surrounded by paddocks of gorgeous reindeer herds, stunning countryside views, magical woodland, a hidden elf village with drive-thru toy workshop and meet Father Christmas himself, with a gift for every child - all from the warmth and safety of your car.

Bute Park Light Walk

This will take visitors on a magical tour around one of the capital city’s most beloved landmarks and through the biggest Christmas lights trail Wales has ever seen.
Tickets are on sale for the event and it runs from November 25 , right through until, and including, New Year’s Eve.
Santa’s Victorian Christmas at Cardiff Castle
Santa Claus is back and you can visit him at Cardiff Castle during a limited exclusive tour from Sunday, December 5 to Thursday, December 23.
The tour will include a personal tour of the castle, a treasure hunt in the castle, private meeting with Santa and a gift and a Lantern Trail in the castle grounds.
Tours start at 3:15pm and the last one is at 7:15pm each day.
Gower Christmas Tree's Winter Wonderland
A grotto, Santa letter writing, reindeer and animatronics make this Swansea farm a real winter wonderland.
You can also buy one of the thousands of fresh Christmas trees to take home.
You can find them at Poundffald Farm,Three Crosses, Swansea.
Zipmas at Zip World
Zip World have revealed they will be running their Zipmas event from their Llechwedd site in Snowdonia.
The event will be an underground grotto running from Monday, November 29 to Christmas Eve .
Folly Farm Grotto
Visit Father Christmas at the Pembrokeshire farm park and get a pressie for the little 'uns as well as a glass of mulled wine for parents.
You must prebook your tickets and the grotto weekends run until December 19.
Swansea Waterfront Wonderland

Unfortunately, the Swansea Christmas Parade and Waterfront Wonderland were cancelled last year due to the pandemic but it is back this year!
Waterfront Wonderland opens on November 12.

Street Food Cinema
Cardiff's drive-in cinema gets Christmassy with a line-up of festive films, Home Alone, Elf, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation and Die Hard, and lush street food - burgers, hot dogs, pizzas and shakes and more.
The drive-in runs from December 17 to 23.
