The two-word message Nottingham Forest fans will all agree with

Matty Cash might well have summed up the feelings of everyone assosciated with Nottingham Forest.

The Reds' promotion push is on hold because of coronavirus, which has suspended the season indefinitely.

Sabri Lamouchi's side sit in fifth place, five points clear of Bristol City in seventh and looking a very good bet to finish the 2019-20 season in the play-offs.

Covid-19, though, has put the breaks on the campaign.

The disease has claimed almost 8,000 lives in the United Kingdom, infecting just over 65,000 people.

It has hospitalised Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who was in intensive care until yesterday when he was discharged.

The Reds were due to have played five matches since the League season was postponed the day before last month's trip to Sheffield Wednesday.

Today would have seen the visit of Fulham to the City Ground.

And Cash, who has been one of the top performers in his position, right-back, this season has shared a message that every Forest fan will agree with.

"Missing it," he posted on Twitter, alongside a picture of him in action against West Bromwich Albion in February.

Cash has made 39 appearances this season, scoring three goals and assisting four for his team-mates.
