The nominees for the 2019 Golden Boy award have been announced.
And there is Tottenham interest in the form of two youngsters.
The Golden Boy award was set up in 2003 by Italian newspaper Tuttosport.
It is given by sports journalists to a young player in Europe who has had the most impressive year. All nominees must be under the age of 21 and play in a European nation's top tier.
Eleven newspapers nominate five players and a list of 80 nominees has been drawn up for the 2019 award.
The two Tottenham players who have made the list are Oliver Skipp and Tashan Oakley-Boothe.
Skipp is an 18-year-old midfielder who has recently made his breakthrough into Mauricio Pochettino's first team. He made eight Premier League appearances in the 2018/19 campaign, as well as two games in the FA Cup, picking up two assists in the 7-0 demolition of Tranmere Rovers.
Oakley-Boothe is yet to register a Premier League appearance, having played just one minute of action in the 2017/18 League Cup, but is highly-regarded in N17.
The 19-year-old central midfielder has been a regular in the U18 Premier League and the PremierLeague 2, as well as starring in the Uefa Youth League.
The pair have tough conpetition to win the crown, with the likes of Real Madrid pair Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior, new £118m Atletico Madrid signing Joao Felix and Roma duo Nicolo Zaniolo and Justin Kluivert also nominated.
The award has previously been won by Matthijs de Ligt, Kylian Mbappe and Raheem Sterling.
