Allan Saint-Maximin and Jetro Willems have been named in WhoScored's Premier League Newcomers' Team of the Season.
The pair joined Newcastle in last summer's transfer window and both made a significant impression.
Saint-Maximin joined Newcastle from Nice in a move worth around £20million and quickly established himself as the club's talisman.
The 23-year-old finished the season with four goals and seven assists and his pace and trickery down the left flank gave Premier League defenders nightmares.
His influence was so keenly felt by Newcastle that they won just once in the 12 games he missed through injury last term. Of the 26 he did play, Newcastle won 10 of those games.
Meanwhile, Willems joined Newcastle on loan from Eintracht Frankfurt and established himself as United's number one option at left-wing-back.
The Dutch international came up big against the Premier League's elite sides as he scored against both Liverpool and Manchester City and created the winning goal against Manchester United.
A cruciate knee ligament injury picked up in January's 1-0 win over Chelsea cut short his loan spell but he had already made a positive impression.
And the statistics back up the positive impact the pair made. The website takes into account, minutes played, goals scored, goals created, shots per game and pass completion rate, among other factors to compile an average rating out of 10 for the season.
Each player must have played over half of Newcastle's games this season and Willems (6.84) and Saint-Maximin (7.29) made the cut.
