The two cursed away days where Leeds United have a worse record than at Cardiff City

There are only two away trips more cursed for Leeds United than Cardiff City, and one of those is in the Premier League.

Saturday’s two-nil defeat to Cardiff was United’s 18th away defeat to the Bluebirds.

That’s compared to just six draws and a paltry five wins, according to figures taken from worldfootball.net.

It gives Leeds a dismal win ratio of just 17% in the Welsh capital.

They only have a worse away record against two other clubs who they’ve played at least 10 away games against.

The worst record is at Anfield.

Leeds have played 55 away games against Liverpool, not including games at neutral venues.

They’ve won just eight of those, which works out at around one in seven, or just under 15%.

United have fared slightly better away to Brentford, but only just.

Leeds have won three of their 20 games away to the Bees, which is a ratio of 15%.

Cardiff is the club’s next worst away day, followed by Manchester United (18% win ratio) and Nottingham Forest (also 18%).
