The two Arsenal players who will relish Hector Bellerin's return from injury next season

Arsenal supporters are counting down the days until the return of their first-choice right-back.

Hector Bellerin has been out of action since mid-January after suffering an ACL injury in the 2-0 win over Chelsea and the Gunners did struggle in his absence.

Stephan Lichtsteiner wasn't trusted too often, Carl Jenkinson was handed a couple of opportunities and Shkodran Mustafi operated as an emergency right-back against Tottenham Hotspur as well as Watford.

But Bellerin's replacement turned out to be Ainsley Maitland-Niles - often playing as a right-wing back - and he endured some rough moments in particular against Leicester City and in the Europa League final loss.

Therefore, it's no surprise Lauren has named the versatile Gunners star as one of two players who will relish the return of the Spaniard from injury next season.

"Hector Bellerin was a massive loss for Arsenal last season as he is very important to the way that Emery likes to play his football," Lauren told bwin . Ainsley Maitland-Niles but came in to replace him and did a good job but he has also has a lot to learn in the position.

"Mistakes are natural at a young age and we all make them, its part of the process. He is clearly very good on the ball and going forward but has to work on some of the defensive responsibilities of the position, which is natural for someone in a new position.

"With Bellerin back this season, it will give Ainsley a chance to learn from him and improve.

"On the other side of the defence, Kolasinac had a decent season but I think there is potential for him to do much better in the future."

Amid reports that Bellerin is set to miss the start of next season, it could be that Maitland-Niles is asked to fill in on the right-hand side once again as Lichtsteiner has been released and Jenkinson has been linked with West Brom.

With that said, the Gunners have been linked with a move for Paris Saint-Germain's Thomas Meunier , although with a reported transfer budget of £45m it remains to be seen if that deal can get over the line.
