The truth behind Leeds United players' training ground trips and who's been going

Leeds United’s players have been using Thorp Arch for training, but not flouting Government guidelines on social distancing.

Current measures instruct all people to retain a two-metre distance from one another unless they are isolating together at the same property.

LeedsLive understands while a selection of the Whites squad have been using the Thorp Arch facilities, none have been training together.

Liam Cooper, Stuart Dallas, Ezgjan Alioski and Gaetano Berardi have all been regulars at the training ground in order to use the running track there.

None of that quartet are understood to have arrived to run at the same time around the training ground, observing social distancing under head of medicine and performance Rob Price.

Running near their homes has been proved difficult for several reasons, but in light of recent media reports, they have now been told to stay away for the avoidance of doubt.

Adam Forshaw, Leif Davis and Jean-Kevin Augustin have also visited Thorp Arch since the lockdown came into place, but for crucial injury rehabilitation.
