First we had the axis of evil, now we have the trumpet of freedom.
The US president, George Bush, spoke, spoke of this trumpet in a wide-ranging speech today on his foreign policy and the threat of terrorism at Washington's National Defence University, a centre for professional military education.
He told the audience: "The trumpet of freedom has been sounded and that trumpet never calls retreat."
