The True Adventures of Wolfboy: New film poster spells Chloe Sevigny's name wrong

The first poster has been unveiled for new family film The True Adventures of Wolfboy – but with one big mistake.

Jaeden Martell leads the film as a young boy named Paul with hypertrichosis, a condition which causes him to grow a thick coat of hair over his body.

While Jaeden's name is spelt correctly on the film's poster, this particular luxury wasn't extended to Chloë Sevigny

At the top of the one-sheet, as spotted by Twitter user @rosstmiller, the actor’s name is spelt Chloe Sevingy.

Sevigny's name is spelt correctly in the trailer.

Written by Olivia Dufault and directed by Martin Krejcí, the new film has been described as "a coming-of-age delight" by Gizmodo.

John Turturro and Chris Messina also star in the film, which sees Paul run away from home to find his estranged mother.

Last month, creator of The New Mutants Bob McLeod denounced the new Maisie Williams film after realising his name was spelt wrong in the credits.

“They couldn’t even be bothered to check the spelling of my name sometime in the last three years – and that can’t be fixed," he wrote.

“That will be on the movie forever. I think I’m done with this movie.”

It has since been revealed that fellow artist Bill Sienkiewicz is trying to get the mistake corrected for him ahead of the film’s home entertainment release.

The True Adventures of Wolfboy will be released on 30 October.
