The transfer value of each Newcastle United player - and how they have changed since the summer

Newcastle United are looking to do business in the January transfer window following a testing festive period.

The window is only a week old, yet the Magpies have already been linked to a host of names with Steve Bruce believed to be seeking attacking reinforcements.

The future of several United players will also come under the microscope with a number of contracts due to expire in the summer.

Following three defeats on the bounce, the Magpies sit five points clear of the relegation zone. Bruce endured a difficult start to life in charge, but United enjoyed a upturn in form from October which saw the team lift themselves clear of the bottom three.

The likes of Allan Saint-Maximin, Jonjo Shelvey, Jetro Willems have impressed so far this campaign, while others have struggled to make an impact in the first-half of the season.

Eight players are judged to have increased in value, while nine others have seen a drop - according to website Transfermarkt.

With incomings and outgoings anticipated in January, here's a look at the transfer value of each Newcastle United player and how they've changed from their listed values last August.
