The transfer value of each Newcastle United player - and how they have changed since January

Newcastle United are looking to do business in an uncertain transfer market this summer.

The new season is not due to start until September 12, while the transfer window has been extended until October 5.

However, the delays and financial ramifications of the Covid-19 pandemic means football clubs at all levels are expected to face a challenging window.

Steve Bruce has previously stressed his desire to strengthen his squad with up to four "quality" signings, but the impact of the pandemic has seen his transfer budget slashed.

The Magpies may look to add to this total through the sales of fringe players, but this will likely be a tough task.

Allan Saint-Maximin and Martin Dubravka are the only United players to see their values rise since the last window - according to website Transfermarkt.

Joelinton has seen the steepest decline in value, while other high-priced assets such as Miguel Almiron and Sean Longstaff have also seen notable falls.

With incomings and outgoings expected at St James' Park, here's a look at the transfer value of each Newcastle United player and how they've changed from their listed values in January.

New signing Mark Gillespie and loanees such as Jacob Murphy and Freddie Woodman were previously not listed in the Magpies squad on Transfermarkt.
