Leeds United must register any new signings they plan to bring in by noon on Monday if Marcelo Bielsa wishes to include them in his match-day squad against Millwall at Elland Road on Tuesday evening.
EFL rules state a club must register any new addition by noon on the day prior to the game they are hopeful of making their debut in.
That means Leeds, who are understood to have made a striker their top priority this month, must get a deal over the line by 12pm on Monday lunchtime if they want their new signing(s) to feature against Millwall.
Providing an update on Leeds' latest stance in the January transfer window, Bielsa, speaking to the media prior to Saturday's trip to QPR, said: "We analyse and try to correct, try to improve and adapt ourselves to the situation.
"About these new players in the team: I have done all the explanations, given all the information, the unfair treatment of Arsenal and [Eddie] Nketiah, the three of them to Leeds."
The transfer window closes for business in the Championship at 11pm on Friday, January 31.
