The Traitors' Dr Amos has returned to work as a GP after show but is eyeing up Celeb SAS

Dr Amos Ogunkoya was amongst the 20 contestants who travelled to the Scottish Highlands to take part in a new gameshow – which he and the other players had no idea would become a sensation.

The general practitioner was 30 when he took part in The Traitors, which went down a storm with BBC viewers as it hit our screens at the end of last year.

Not only did Dr Amos form a sweet bond with fellow Faithful Andrea Addison, but he also has a new-found platform which he plans to use for good.

Speaking to the Mirror at Sagaboi's London Fashion Week debut show, said: "I really like talking to people frankly about health, there's a lot of charities I'm involved in.

"I really care about blood donations in ethnic minority groups and just generally. I'm working with Anthony Nolan about campaigns with them and I met the Mayor of London and we discussed doing a blood drive together to get more people donating.

"So if I'm doing more media I want to do good, I want to talk about health in an authentic way – I've already started doing some work with the BBC on that, there's some really exciting plans ahead. But that's the aim really to be a genuine, authentic advocate for people's health."

Dr Amos is keen to use his platform for good but has also remained true to his original career roots – and returned to work as a GP after filming for The Traitors wrapped.

"I'm still a GP. I love seeing patients," He said at the Sagaboi by fashion designer Geoff K. Cooper LFW show. "I just came straight from work and I wanna keep doing that.

"I think that's a part of who I am and I love helping people. I've been a doctor for the last eight years and I'm never gonna stop doing that."

The Dr revealed he didn't know the show would be as big as it turned out to be and it has opened a number of exciting doors for Amos.

He said: "It's been really interesting. I've had lot of opportunities, I'm exploring being more on TV and it's been weird being recognised by people but also it's been an interesting ride as well because we didn't expect the show to be that big."

If The Traitors wasn't gruelling enough, Dr Amos has also revealed he would be keen to take part in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

When asked which other reality show he would do, Dr Amos spilled: "SAS: Who Dares Wins. I think I would enjoy the mental battle.

"I think pushing yourself physically is really important – and mentally as well. I think you're supposed to test yourself and without testing yourself...

"One of the reasons I did the show [The Traitors] was to test myself. That's one reality show I'd love to do and I can see myself doing."

From Sagaboi founder Geoff K. Cooper comes his first clothing collection, entitled “Ramajay”, an eclectic fusion of Cooper’s diverse Trinidadian heritage, and broader West Indian culture and history. Influenced by the iconic outfits of Caribbean calypsonians such as Mighty Sparrow, actor Harry Belafonte, and men’s style of the Windrush generation, the collection riffs on the military silhouettes and flamboyant tailoring they wore, seamlessly integrated with streetwear silhouettes, and knitwear inspired by materials found in local fishing villages.
