The Touch of Frost scene that takes us back to Leeds in the early 1990s

This Touch of Frost clip allows us to take a tour of Gipton in the early 1990s.

The 103-second clip shows detective inspector Jack Frost (played by David Jason) and police constable  Hazel Wallace (played by Caroline Harker) drive along Oak Tree Drive, turn onto North Farm Road and then pass long-lost landmarks such as Coldcotes School.

The clip is taken from the fourth episode of season two, which aired in January 1994.

The award-winning TV drama series was produced in Leeds by Yorkshire Television and then ITV Studios over an 18-year period, which ended in April 2010.

Even though the series is set in the fictional South Midlands town of Denton, many of the outdoor scenes were filmed in towns and cities in West Yorkshire, such as Leeds, Wakefield, Pontefract and Castleford.
