The Tottenham transfer message that confirms Spurs' summer business is over

It's been a busy finale to the summer transfer window, but for Tottenham Hotspur it appears that it's job done.

The north London side completed the signings of four players this summer, meaning that Mauricio Pochettino will no doubt be happy with the quality added to his squad.

First to sign was Jack Clarke for 8.5million.

The youngster arrived from Leeds United but was immediately loaned back to the Championship side so that he could play more regular first team football before linking up with the squad.

Next up was Tanguy Ndombele who joined for a club record fee from Lyon - a player of undoubted quality, he's bound to play a big part this season.

Transfer deadline day saw Spurs bring in Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon, capping off an encouraging window for the club.

There was speculation surrounding a move for Paulo Dybala, but the club took to social media with a post that suggested that all of the club's incoming transfer business was done for the summer.

Attention now turns to the start of the Premier League season when Tottenham take on Aston Villa on Saturday evening.

The hope will be that Mauricio Pochettino's new arrivals can make an impact early on to justify the transfer fees paid for the undoubtedly talented new signings.
