Today is a day in history Tottenham fans would probably much rather forget.
This time last year Spurs were embarking on their first ever Champions League final date - although it would end in disappointment.
The all-English Champions League final in the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid went the way of Liverpool, with a controversial early Mohamed Salah penalty and a late Divock Origi strike giving the Reds their sixth European Cup.
There were tears, from both sets of players - and probably fans - as a number of Liverpool player realised their dreams and Spurs stars saw their go up in smoke.
On the sidelines managers Jurgen Klopp and Mauricio Pochettino were gracious in victory and magnanimous in defeat respectively.
Liverpool have obviously been celebrating the anniversary of their win on their social media channels today, and one video showed something interesting about how Klopp celebrated the triumph.
The Liverpool boss shook hands with and embraced Pochettino on the touchline, before thanking the fourth official and sharing hugs with numerous members of his backroom staff.
But on what was a momentous occasion for the Merseyside club, before Klopp celebrated with his own players, he had a word with one of the Tottenham players.
In the video posted on Liverpool's official Facebook page, Klopp can be seen jogging over to Spurs defender Jan Vertonghen, who was on his haunches on the Atletico Madrid pitch, hauling him to his feet and putting an arm around him and giving him a hug.
It is not known why Klopp singled out Vertonghen, or if it was just that he was in his eyeline before going onto the pitch to embrace his players, but it was an interesting move.
