The Tottenham morning headlines as Ryan Sessegnon hails victorious and summer right back options

Here are the Tottenham Hotspur morning headlines for Saturday, 21st March.

Sessegnon hails victorious

While there is no Premier League game this weekend, there was still a big game between Tottenham and West Ham that took place on Friday night.

The two teams were scheduled to meet at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but the fixture was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak, with Premier League football not returning until at least April 30th.

However, Tottenham man Ryan Sessegnon and West Ham counterpart Michail Antonio found a way to get the game played - through FIFA.

And it was the Spurs man who came out on top, thanks to goals from Giovani Lo Celso and Lucas Moura.

That means that Antonio now has to give a full apology while wearing a Tottenham shirt.

Mason reacts to coach's departure

Head of academy coaching and player development John McDermott is set to leave his role at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as he moves to the FA.

McDermott has been with the club for 15 years and has seen a number of players make their way through the academy and into the first team, one of these players in Ryan Mason who has taken to social media to react to the news.

The best out there!!!" Mason wrote on Twitter. "A great servant for 15 years at our club, will be a huge miss!

"Thank you."

Summer right back options

It is likely that Jose Mourinho will make additions to his Tottenham squad in the upcoming summer transfer window as he looks to add his own spin to the playing staff at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The Spurs boss bought in two new players during January as Gedson Fernandes and Steve Bergwijn joined the club.

However, one area that could be added to during the summer is the right-back position, with the club having sold Kieran Trippier to Atletico Madrid last summer.

so, what options will be available to Mourinho? Take a look here.

Possible Premier League return date

With the coronavirus pandemic, fans are eager to know just when the Premier League could return to action.

A second date of April 30 has been planned, but that again could be moved should the worldwide situation not improve in that time.

But La Liga chief Javier Tebas, who is also part of the FIFA working committee has suggested that action could be restarted again in May or possibly earlier.

"Given the current situation, we believe we can restart the competitions in mid-May, perhaps during the third week," he said (as reported by the Daily Mail ).

"If circumstances permit, we could bring that forward."
