The Tottenham matches Eric Dier will miss after being hit with FA suspension

Tottenham have been issued with a huge blow as Eric Dier will be unavailable for selection until the final matchday of the season after being hit with an FA suspension.

The England international was banned for four matches and issued a £40k fine for using 'threatening actions' after climbing into the stands to confront supporters after an FA Cup clash with Norwich City.

That means that Jose Mourinho will be unable to call upon Dier for Thursday's clash against relegation-threatened Bournemouth, as well as the North London derby against arch-rivals Arsenal on Sunday.

Dier will also miss the Premier League matches against Newcastle United and Leicester City but will be available to feature on the final game of the season against Crystal Palace.

26-year-old Dier has been a regular fixture in the Spurs side this season, making 29 appearances across all competitions under Mauricio Pochettino and Mourinho.

Since the Premier League's resumption after the three-month hiatus, Dier has not missed a single minute of the four matches against Manchester United, West Ham, Sheffield United and Everton.

Matches Dier will miss

Wednesday, July 9 - Bournemouth (A) - 18:00

Sunday, July 12 - Arsenal (H) - 16:30

Wednesday, July 15 - Newcastle United (A) - 18:00

Sunday, Juy 19 - Leicester City (H) - 16:00
