The Tottenham evening headlines as Spurs turn the tables on Man United and Rashford's message

Here are your Tottenham evening headlines for Tuesday, April 21

Spurs turn tables on United over Kane transfer

Tottenham have no intention of selling Harry Kane and Manchester United will have to look elsewhere, football.london’s Alasdair Gold has reported.

Spurs’ top scorer was linked with a move away after recent comments during an Instagram Live video.

"It's one of those things, I couldn't say yes, I couldn't say no [about staying at Tottenham for his whole career]," he said.

Alasdair Gold on who Spurs could sell

"I love Spurs, I'll always love Spurs. But it's one of those things - I've always said if I don't feel we're progressing as a team or going in the right direction, then I'm not someone to just stay there for the sake of it.

"I'm an ambitious player, I want to improve, I want to get better, I want to become one of the top, top players.

"It all depends on what happens as a team and how we progress as a team. So it's not a definite I'm going to stay there forever - but it's not a no either."

Daniel Levy is reluctant to even consider selling his star striker and Spurs have the money to keep him at the club for the foreseeable future.

Rashford message should encourage Ndombele

Marcus Rashford has spoken of his “tough period” under Jose Mourinho at Manchester United, offering some hope for Spurs midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.

The Frenchman was hauled off at half-time during a 1-1 draw at Burnley last month having struggled to establish himself since arriving from Lyon in the summer.

But he might look towards Rashford’s experiences for encouragement.

"It was tough but I think when you look back on it in five or six years, they're the moments that give you that mental toughness," the Manchester United man told the Official UTD Podcast.

"As an all-round player I've improved a lot and a lot of it is down to those two years under Jose.

"We had ups and downs. When I look back at it, it was a tough period but definitely a period that made me a better player."

The feature of Spurs’ new stadium you might not know about

The designers of Tottenham’s new stadium have shown off an impressive feature, which many fans might not have been aware of.

Designers Populous posted on their Instagram account a short 'soundscape' showing how the noise reverberates around the stadium and how very little of it escapes.

They wrote in their caption: "Part science, part magic, the atmosphere at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is one of the noisiest in the world.

"This amazing soundscape shows how the design traps the roar of the crowd so that it reverberates around the seating bowl."
