The top thing Channing Frye will remember about LeBron is his bad breath

Channing Frye plans to retire after this season, and with four games remaining, the end of his NBA career is really starting to sink in.

Frye played his final game in Phoenix on Monday. The Cavaliers forward played high school and college in Arizona along with four years with the Suns. Ahead of that game, he joined The Athletic for an interview, and, well, Frye had plenty to say.

He also took some hilarious jabs at LeBron James.

When asked for the three things he’ll tell his children about playing alongside LeBron, Frye’s No. 1 choice was … unexpected. LeBron apparently has bad breath.

He said via The Athletic:

“No. 1, he has smelly breath. Smelly breath. No. 2, he was a freak of nature. And then No. 3, Kyle Korver and I fixed his jumper for one year. (Funny, Korver takes the credit for that.) I know, but Korver, Channing, it’s all the same. It’s all about Korver.”

I’m honestly surprised that this information hadn’t leaked over the course of LeBron’s career, but leave it to Channing to make LeBron the No. 1 target for every breath-mint manufacturer out there.

It really must be bad, though, if Frye led with that tidbit right off the bat.
