The most popular Autumn themed baby name for a girl this year is Branch.
While some fans of the kids movie Trolls might be more familiar with the name as Poppy's love-interest, played by Justine Timberlake, Branch is the higest ranking name for baby girls this year, seeing an increase of 150% in popularity this week alone.
This charming name can also refer to branching out onto new adventures.
Secondly, Samhain (pronounced SOW-in) has increased by 78%. The name originates from the Gaelic festival of the same name and means ‘end of harvest season’.

In third place is the name Sorrell, with an increase of 75%.
Interestingly its other variation, Sorrel, is more than 3 times less
popular. Both names have French origins meaning ‘reddish brown’, so a perfect name for a baby born in a colourful season.
Other notable autumn themed baby girl names which made the top 10 are Carmine, Ash, Bruna, Libra, Saffron, Leaf and Kiona - which means 'brown hills' in Native American.

Rust was the most popular Autumn-themed boys name, seeing an 80% increase in popularity.
In second place was Honour and third place was Birch, after the tree.
The name Miller - meaning 'grinder of grain' was fourth place and completeing the top five was Radley - meaning 'Red meadow'.
