An Italian blowout buffet is always a yes in our books, but when it’s made by Missoni we’re doubly sold — especially when it comes to the marinated sardines and the dark chocolate tart.
2. More Than Our Bellies, by Phillip Lim and Viviane Sassen, We Folk (£65)
Of course, Phillip Lim’s More Than Our Bellies is impossibly chic. Its watercolour-splashed cover will look perfect on your table — as will the chilli, ginger and lime-spiked Hainanese chicken rice.
3. American Fashion Cookbook, Assouline (£38)
With a foreword by Martha Stewart and recipes by fashion designers from Isaac Mizrahi to Derek Lam (yellowtail crudo, anyone?) this one’s an oldie but a goodie — a noughties favourite for a reason.
4. Our Korean Kitchen, by Jordan Bourke and Rejina Pyo, W&N (£17.99)
Rejina Pyo, the South Korean designer, and her husband’s cookbook has won awards, and we can see why. Try the stir-fried spicy squid and you’ll see what we mean.
5. Cooking with Zac, by Zac Posen, Rodale (£21.59)
Who knew Zac Posen was a wizard chef? Step aside red carpet-ready gowns; enter classic blueberry tart and sweet pea ravioli. Useful recipes sit alongside personal anecdotes and beautiful photography.
