Heading out for a Sunday roast is a tradition loved by many people across the North East.
However with so many pubs and restaurants across the region to choose from it can be hard to know where to go. Each eatery had their own take on the classic British meal, with a variety of meats and vegetables on offer.

The pub is within a stone's throw of St James' Park in Newcastle city centre.
They offer a 'slow cooked weekend menu' which includes Sunday Lunch.

The Blackbird

The Blackburn is a tradition inn with a rich history. The signing of a peace treaty between Henry III. of England & Alexander of Scotland, took place on the knoll of the marshes, where the pub stands today.
They offer a Sunday Lunch menu between midday and 5pm each week.

The venue offers a downstairs bar and an upstairs dining room.
On a Sunday, they offer three different kinds of roasts in the dining room.
Milbourne Arms

They describe themselves as a "charming village pub with fine ales and great food".
They offer a Sunday menu which includes roast dinners.
Wylam Brewery

Wylam Brewery is a 30 Barrel Micro Brewery which was founded in 2000.
On a Sunday, they serve a traditional roast of locally sourced fine cuts and a tasty vegan option.
The menu changes weekly. They take reservations for Sunday service but not for the other days they open.
Carts Bog Inn

The traditional country pub offers extensive views of the surrounding countryside. They serve Sunday Lunch between 12pm and 4pm every Sunday.
