They're so tiny you could easily walk past without even knowing they're there.
But a number of mysterious figures have been appearing in a town in Mid Wales to the surprise of those beady-eyed enough to notice.
On Friday Di Davies spotted one sculpture of a tiny man and woman sitting and enjoying the canal in Welshpool, Powys.
And since then the number of figures has grown as the mystery of who's behind them spreads.
Di, 51, said: "It's really sweet. It's so small I wonder many times I've walked past without noticing it.
"I think someone had put it there earlier in the day.
"When I have been going past I have seen people looking at it. It's a bit of a special point of interest – it's a nice distraction from the mundane when every day is the same.
"It's not the easiest area to get to so I imagine they whoever has done it lives locally. They would have to be reasonably agile."
After Di's discovery separate but equally tiny heads and torsos of people have been found along the same path by the Montgomeryshire canal.
Posting on a community Facebook page, Amelia-Jayne Wilson said: "Those little people under the bridge are breeding. Kids really enjoyed spotting them. Thanks to whoever is doing it."
The only possible clue behind the miniature art is a piece of graffiti nearby with the words 'make someone happy today' and the name Jessie.
But until the unknown sculptor comes forward we'll never know.
