The Times is to add its property supplement, Bricks & Mortar, to its Scottish edition. It will be published from Friday (17 April) with a section devoted to homes available in Scotland.
The supplement’s editor, Anne Ashworth, argues that this is the perfect moment to launch it:
“With just over three weeks until one of the most unpredictable general elections in decades we are launching at just the right time for Scottish readers.
Regardless of the outcome there will inevitably be uncertainty in the market and we will help them to make the right decisions as it settles down under a new government”.
Les Snowdon, the Times’s Scottish editor, said his readers will now be able to “benefit from the award-winning journalism of the Times property team”.
Bricks & Mortar was named as national newspaper supplement of the year in last month’s LSL property press awards. Ashworth won the property columnist of the year at title at the 2014 awards.
