Tie-dye has experienced an undeniable resurgence since lockdown ensued, with people up and down the nation looking to dust a sprinkling of je ne sais quoi on their tired and lacklustre pieces.

Well the lockdown consensus is clear: fashion platform Lyst has noted a 103 per cent increase in searches for the print in the last month, while shopping app LIKEtoKNOW.it has seen an increase of 4000 per cent this month in searches for tie-dye shirts.
And high fashion hasn't been immune from the allure of the print either as, while it has oscillated in and out of vogue over the years, it cast a definitive hallucinatory haze over the spring/summer 2019 catwalks, with everyone from Prada to Michael Kors and Stella McCartney embracing the hippie hues.
