The three Spurs players at risk of joining Son Heung-min on the sidelines through suspension

Tottenham will once again be without Son Heung-min through suspension following his dismissal against Chelsea on Sunday evening.

Missing the first two league matches of the campaign after his red card against Bournemouth back in May carried over into the new season, the South Korean ace now misses the team's next three games after kicking out at Antonio Rudiger.

It means that Jose Mourinho will not have the player available for the festive games against Brighton & Hove Albion, Norwich City and Southampton.

Son will certainly be a big loss for the team over the next few games and Mourinho will be hoping that none of his other players join the 27-year-old on the sidelines through suspension.

Rules state that any player that picks up a total of five bookings from his side's first 19 Premier League matches will have to serve a one-match ban.

Well, Spurs currently have three players walking a suspension tightrope going into the home clash against Brighton.

Eric Dier, Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko, who was booked against Chelsea, are all currently on four bookings and a yellow card against the Seagulls will see them miss the trip to Norwich City on Saturday evening.

However, the Boxing Day game at home to Brighton marks the halfway point of the season and the yellow card cut-off point.

This means that reaching five bookings after the game won't result in a one-game ban, instead players will receive a two-game ban if they accumulate 10 yellow cards in 32 games.

A total of 15 yellow cards over the duration of the season will result in a three-game ban.

Danny Rose currently leads the way on five bookings for Spurs in the Premier League this term.
