The three sought-after benefits that most employers still don’t offer

  • Flexible working, increased sick pay, and pension contributions are the most sought-after benefits for jobseekers.
  • However, employers are not meeting these demands, according to a Totaljobs study.
  • While 40 per cent of prospective employees prioritise flexible hours, only 13 per cent of job postings mention it.
  • Similarly, 25 per cent of jobseekers want better sick pay, but only 4 per cent of adverts offer it.
  • The study highlights a disconnect between employer offerings and jobseeker expectations, urging companies to adapt their benefits packages to attract talent.
