The three reasons you can go into someone's house from Monday in England

Lockdown rules in England will change on Monday meaning the return of outdoor sports and socialising, weddings, picnics and the Rule of Six.

But while you can meet with up to six people from different households outdoors, or an unlimited number of people if just two households are meeting, you are not allowed to go indoors.

However, if you are at the house of a friend or family after Monday there are three reasons you can go indoors, the Mirror reports.

You can go inside if it is the only way to get to a garden or outside space.

You can go inside to use the toilet or wash your hands.

You can go indoors to get a drink.

All the activities and businesses re-opening in England - from March 29

The rules change on March 29 as part of England's roadmap out of lockdown.

You also no longer need to 'stay home' and can instead 'stay local'.

You are not allowed to stay overnight at someone else's house.

Rules will change again from April 12.
