Just three days after their last game, Nottingham Forest are again back in Championship action as Chris Hughton takes charge of his second match as Forest boss.
The Reds will be looking to build on a 1-0 win over Blackburn Rovers when they take on Rotherham United at the City Ground tonight (Tuesday).
The win over Blackburn was Forest’s first three points of the season, after a disappointing run of form led to the sacking of Sabri Lamouchi and the subsequent appointment of Hughton.
Rotherham meanwhile go into the match on the back of a 2-1 defeat to newly-relegated Norwich City.
The Millers have picked up five points from their opening five Championship games so far this season, leaving them in 17th place in the table.
However, manager Paul Warne will be without three players for the game against Forest, while he also won’t be at the game due to self-isolation after a member of his family tested positive for COVID-19.
Winger Chiedozie Ogbene has missed the last two matches with a knee injury and has been ruled out for a number of months, while defender Angus MacDonald will serve the first of his three-match ban after being shown red against Norwich.
Warne has also revealed that another player will be missing for the game against Forest, but wouldn’t reveal the name of the player.
"We have got a serious injury, I don't want to say who it is because it gives a helping hand to the opposition,” he said (via the Yorkshire Post).
"We think one of the players might have a break from an incident in the last second of the game. If that is the case, it could be three to four months.
“That is a blow because the 14 lads who played a part on Saturday were all very good, so to lose any one of our players for four months on top of just losing Chieo (Obgene) for a similar period of time is a blow. I won't know definitively until Tuesday when he goes for a scan. I don't really want to assist the opposition by telling them who it is.”
