Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirms massive triple Man United injury blow ahead of West Ham trip

Manchester United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have been handed a massive injury blow ahead of Sunday's clash against West Ham United.

The Red Devils will be without Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial and Luke Shaw for the game in east London.

All three players missed the Europa League opening game vs Astana at Old Trafford on Thursday night, and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Pogba and Martial won't be fit for the trip to the London Stadium.

Midfielder Daniel James also missed the midweek game after picking up a knock against Leicester City and Solskjaer is still sweating on the Welshman's fitness.

When asked if Pogba and Martial would be fit for the West Ham game, the Man United manager answered: "Not really, no, "They've not been training yet so I don't think so. [Luke] won't be ready." (via Manchester Evening News ).

"Daniel James? I don't know. He's not trained the last few days. Hopefully, but not sure. We'll have a recovery day with everyone tomorrow and we'll see on Saturday."

United go into the game off the back of two 1-0 wins in a row, a Marcus Rashford penalty gave them the three points against Leicester City last week.

Before Mason Greenwood's 73rd minute strike got their Europa League campaign off to the perfect start.

Pogba (ankle) has not played since the 1-1 draw with Southampton three weeks ago, while both Martial and Shaw were injured during the 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace in August.
