The three Liverpool players Jurgen Klopp will be without for visit of Arsenal and Mikel Arteta

For the second time in a month, Arsenal and Liverpool lock horns.

Four weeks ago they met at Wembley Stadium with the Community Shield on the line and the Gunners emerged victorious on penalties after it finished 1-1 in normal time.

And they'll resume acquaintances in the Premier League at Anfield on Monday night where at least one side's 100 percent winning record at the start of the new season will be broken.

Speaking of the Reds, manager Jurgen Klopp delivered some mixed injury news during his pre-match press conference on Friday.

The good news is that Joe Gomez could be available after missing the 2-0 win at Chelsea last weekend as well as the 7-2 Carabao Cup win over Lincoln in midweek.

However, Jordan Henderson, Joel Matip, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are the three players Klopp will be without for the clash against the Gunners.

"Joe (Gomez) should be back today in training, that's what everyone has told me," Klopp told reporters, as per the Liverpool Echo. "Billy the kid is back in training.

"Joel not. Hendo not yet, this game is for sure too early."

With that said, summer signing Thiago Alcantara could make his full Premier League debut after he impressed as a substitute against Chelsea last weekend.

"We will see, we will see," he added. "We have a few days to train, some boys have to recover from last night, so we will see how we set up against Arsenal.

"I have an idea, but why should I make the decision today when we have time until Monday? But he is in contention, for sure. Yeah, let’s see."

Klopp has also spoken very highly of his number Mikel Arteta.

"Mikel Arteta has shown in a short period of time he seems an exceptional football manager," Klopp said in his pre-match press conference, as per the Liverpool Echo. The structure of his team is exceptional, the balance of the team is really good.

"He has changed the whole mood of the club."
