The three changes Newcastle United fans would like to see against Manchester United

Newcastle United fans would like to see Steve Bruce make three changes for the Magpies' Premier League clash with Manchester United this evening.

The Magpies can move into the Champions League places with a win over the Red Devils at St James' Park and will look to build on what has been a solid start to the season against their disjointed opponents.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side were thrashed 6-1 by Tottenham Hotspur last time out and the Norwegian is already under pressure after a difficult start to the season.

Newcastle, on the other hand, ran out 3-1 winners over Burnley a fortnight ago and, despite some criticism over performances, have lost just once in seven games so far this term.

The old adage is to not change a winning side but, according to the results from our team selector tool, Newcastle fans would like to see Bruce make three changes this evening.

After an impressive start to the season, Karl Darlow would retain his place in goal but you would like to see Bruce make two changes to the back four.

Emil Krafth started at right-back in the win over the Clarets but you would like to see Javi Manquillo replace him this evening. Fabian Schar also started in the win over Burnley but after a difficult period away with the Swiss national team, fans would like to see him taken out of the firing line.

Jamaal Lascelles has returned to fitness and fans would like to see him partner Federico Fernandez in the heart of defence, with Jamal Lewis retaining his place at left-back.

Jeff Hendrick, Jonjo Shelvey and Isaac Hayden would all retain their places to make up a three-man midfield, while Allan Saint-Maximin, fresh from signing a new deal, would line up in attacking midfield.

However, despite a decent performance against Burnley, fans would like to see Joelinton replaced by Ryan Fraser in the attacking midfield area.

Fraser impressed while on international duty with Scotland and you are keen to see him rekindle his relationship with former Bournemouth team-mate Callum Wilson, who would unsurprisingly lead the line this evening.

Is this how you would like Newcastle to line up? Let us know by voting in our team selector tool above.
