Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp has insisted that Manchester United legend Eric Cantona was not in the same league as Thierry Henry.
The Arsenal striker remains the club's top goal-scorer and won two Premier League title during an illustrious spell at the club.
Henry is widely regarded as one of the best players to have ever graced the Premier League.
Discussing the best foreign imports to have graced the top-flight since 1993, Redknapp insisted that Cantona was not at the same level as Henry, having played against both players.
"It was perfect timing, wasn't it? It was all about the timing," Redknapp told The Football Show.
"He cost a million pounds, wasn't it? The FA Cup moment when he scored the winner against us was pretty heartbreaking but he just had big moments in the Premier League. He was just different.
"Absolutely (he had a presence). You wasn't sure how much of it was real, I think there was a little bit of arrogance that he created and so much mystique about him, you'd heard the rumours about him as a person but all the guys that played with him said he was a thoroughly nice guy.
"I feel like I'm leaving myself open to some ridicule here but I played against a lot better players than him, trust me, but he just had that something special. The big moments, the FA Cup final goal.
"But if you're comparing him to someone like Thierry Henry, for example, I don't think he would be in the same league. However, the longevity and the impact he had at United, the fact they still sing his name shows he is loved at that football club."
