Tesco has launched a code that could save shoppers £5 when they next stock up for a spring clean.
The supermarket giant has launched a code that, when entered at checkout, gives £5 off if you have bought more than £15 of cleaning and laundry products ranging.
The product list includes brand names such as Vanish, Finish, Persil, Mr Muscle, Comfort and Domestos and has been released today for every person who orders online and gets a delivery before 11 February.
Tesco has called the code the 'clean sweep coupon code' and has a list of products that are eligible here.
Supermarket discount codes are not a new thing. Many launch them in the run up to Christmas and Tesco was offering £25 off a shop before the festive season. They often rely on large spending amounts to be used but the £15 spend on cleaning products at Tesco is one of the lower minimum spends at the moment.
It is not the only supermarket to launch a discount code giveaway in January. Shoppers can get £12 off a £60 spend at Morrisons until 25 January using the code VOU0874141 at checkout .
Sainsbury's shoppers can get £18 off their next £60 spend by using the code SCSSEO21NAJ at checkout but it cannot be used on alcohol, tobacco or infant formula.
Online supermarket Ocado is offering 30% off a shop for new customers using the code VOU1673061. The online delivery service requires a minimum spend of £60 and the offer runs out on 14 February.
