The temperature has soared and Blackpill Lido in Swansea is jam-packed

Blackpill Lido was transformed into a sea of bodies on Tuesday lunchtime as hundreds turned out to cool off in the sun.

With the summer holidays in full swing, families took advantage of temperatures hitting 25C to take a dip in Swansea 's outdoor water park.

The attraction, which boasts a paddling pool, children's play area and climbing rock, was rammed with visitors.

Sam, a worker at the site's Junction Cafe, said: "It just about chaos here.

"We haven't seen it this busy this year. This is particularly busy."

The good news for the lido comes just over a month after it was forced to close after being targeted by vandals.

Issued for Tuesday evening, it's expected to follow the hottest day of the year so far, with the thermometer set to hit 32C.

The weather warning is expected to be over by 9am tomorrow.
