The teams Tottenham and Chelsea could face in the Champions League group stage draw

A total of 26 teams have already qualified for the 2019/20 Champions League.

That leaves six places up for grabs in Europe's biggest competition.

The preliminary round of qualifying got under way at the end of June, with the second qualifying round matches due to be taking place this week and next week.

That leaves the third qualifying round and the play-off round to go before we know exactly who will fill the final six spots.

However, we can get a good idea of who they might be after the draw for the third qualifying round was made on Monday.

Chelsea and Tottenham will be London's representatives in the competition next year, having finished third and fourth in the Premier League last season.

The Blues claimed a place in pot one of the group stage draw thanks to winning the Europa League, while Spurs will be placed in pot two, as they were last season.

Harry Kane: Champions League was there for the taking

Here are the teams that Tottenham and Chelsea could face, given the draws and how the play-off round draw works:

Champions path:

CFR Cluj (ROU) or Maccabi Tel-Aviv (ISR) vs Celtic (SCO) or Nõmme Kalju (EST)
Sutjeska (MNE) or APOEL (CYP) vs Dundalk (IRL) or Qarabağ (AZE)
PAOK (GRE) vs Ajax (NED)
Saburtalo (GEO) or Dinamo Zagreb (CRO) vs Ferencváros (HUN) or Valletta (MLT)
Red Star Belgrade (SRB) or HJK Helsinki (FIN) vs The New Saints (WAL) or Copenhagen (DEN)
Maribor (SVN) or AIK (SWE) vs BATE Borisov (BLR) or Rosenborg (NOR)

Young Boys (SUI) and Slavia Prague (CZE) go straight into the Champions path play-off round.

Krasnodar (RUS) vs Porto (POR)
Club Brugge (BEL) vs Dynamo Kyiv (UKR)
