I can only imagine that there is no such thing as a 'normal day' at Black Tomato. The very nature of their business means that they are always out and about seeking that next dream destination.
To bring that destination back to London – and to the customer – needs more than just a simple phone call or an email with some photos attached. They can now use the network to deliver something much more personal and interactive.
Tom and the team have been training to use Webex. This is a great way of having planned or even spontaneous team or client meetings – even if participants are in different countries.
Webex can deliver content full of rich media – such as photos and video – to a client who can be comfortably sat at home with their feet up. By using this tool, the team can reach out to a wider audience than ever before. It also enables Black Tomato to present holiday ideas or discuss a customer's requirements and have the whole event recorded so that actions can be followed up on, or a video-on-demand can be created to be viewed at any time.
Another great feature for the team, who may be meeting with a new customer for the first time, is that Webex will even phone the customer back so that the session costs them nothing.
As a result, I think that Black Tomato will be heard saying "let's Webex" more and more often.
