The Syndicate star Gaynor Faye was left absolutely mortified on Tuesday after she swore live on This Morning.
The former Coronation Street actress and Dancing on Ice champion joined her co-star Neil Morrissey for a chat with hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford about the new series of the hit BBC drama.
It was all going well, with Gaynor and Neil talking about their characters' storylines and how filming for the show, written by Gaynor's mother Faye Mellor, had gone, given it was done with strict restrictions in force due to the coronavirus pandemic.
But as talk turned to the cast being forced into bubbles to shoot in Leeds and Monaco, Gaynor said: "We could be sociable in our bubbles in Monaco so that was lovely.
"It was when we were filming in Leeds that we couldn't socialise at all. We had to very much stay in our social bubbles, which obviously for me...Frank had b*****red off to Monaco," before immediately realising her slip up and exclaiming "ooh sorry!" as she put her hands to her mouth.
Co-star and former Men Behaving Badly and Waterloo Road actor Neil, appearing via video from his home in London, could be seen chuckling at her gaffe after he too put his hands to his mouth.
Gaynor then lost her train of thought and again looked mortified as Eamonn stepped in to say: "We'll find out all about it tonight, it continues on BBC1 9 o'clock on that one," before steering the topic of conversation onto Line of Duty, which Neil's friend Martin Compston stars in.
Reacting to Gaynor's mishap one of her fans tweeted her to say: "‘B*****ed off’? That’s no way to talk young lady," next to a load of laughing emojis.
Echoing her behaviour on screen, Gaynor responded with a hand over mouth emoji.
