The Swansea City vs Norwich City player ratings as defender has sloppy moments and slick star puts in shift

STEVEN BENDA 6

Helpless with Norwich's opener but commanded his box well otherwise. Generally good playing out from the back when needed. Wasn't troubled in the second-half.

NATHAN WOOD 6

Decent enough in the air and good on the ball. Solid throughout.

KYLE NAUGHTON 6

Operating all over the park, Naughton did the basics well enough and kept things ticking over. Had a fine chance with a header before being replaced.

BEN CABANGO 6

Back from World Cup duty, the defender made a vital challenge on Teemu Pukki in the opening seconds and produced a key block to thwart Gabriel Sara. Good enough in possession.

JOEL LATIBEAUDIERE 6

Some sloppy moments did little to help Swansea's cause from a more unfamiliar position. Good cross for Naughton in the second-half. Subbed.

JAY FULTON 6

Put in some timely challenges and won his share of free-kicks to give Swansea a platform to threaten from set-pieces. Some great moments of skill in there too.

MATT GRIMES 6

Always looked to play the bold passes and help get the Swans through the lines, but got away with an undercooked pass to Fulton in the first half.

RYAN MANNING 6

Put in numerous dangerous crosses from the left flank and was always an option when Swansea wanted to spread play.

JAMIE PATERSON 6

On his first start in more than three months, Paterson worked hard out of possession and showed glimpses of his quality, but couldn't have the telling impact. Unable to beat Angus Gunn with a decent chance in the first-half. Withdrawn.

LUKE CUNDLE 6

Some lively moments in the final third from the Wolves loanee who was good in possession. Subbed.

JOEL PIROE 6

Had a shot blocked early on but got little else in the way of clear scoring chances. Put in a shift and had some slick moments.

SUBS

Olivier Ntcham (for Cundle) - Some good moments as Swansea looked threatening late on. 6

Ollie Cooper (for Paterson) - Gave his side some impetus in attack with his energy. 6

Joe Allen (for Latibeaudiere) - Slick enough on the ball. A welcome return following his injury. 6

Armstrong Oko-Flex (for Naughton) - Asked a few questions with his pace and trickery, but final ball lacked. 6
