How we rated Swansea City's players after their 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers
FREDDIE WOODMAN 6
Could do little to stop Graham’s goal but was rarely troubled after that despite some shaky defensive moments from his back four.
CONNOR ROBERTS 7
Made some trademark forays forward and cleared the danger when called upon. Made a game saving tackle before charging forward to aid in attack
MIKE VAN DER HOORN 6
The man Swansea look to for defensive solidarity endured a tense first half but looked back to his old self in the second half when Swansea went down to 10.
BEN CABANGO 6
A couple of nervy moments on his full Championship debut but composed himself and thrived under the pressure in the second period.
JAKE BIDWELL 6
Was caught out by Adam Armstrong in the opening minutes but found the courage to attack down his left flank in an improved second-half display.
MATT GRIMES 7
An improved performance from the skipper as he kept Cooper’s side ticking. Took a whack from Bradley Dack that saw the Rovers man sent off.
TOM CARROLL 5
Looked to have been making the most of his first Liberty Stadium start for 14 months until his sending off handed the initiative back to Blackburn.
ANDRE AYEW (STAR MAN) 8
Another dazzling performance from the man who looks too good for the Championship. Steve Cooper cannot afford to lose his goals and creativity in the January window.
GEORGE BYERS 5
Neat and tidy but wasted a big chance to put the Swans ahead when he let Grimes’ whipped corner flash past his head.
BERSANT CELINA 5
Brought back in from the cold to make an impact but provided more style than substance before being subbed.
SAM SURRIDGE 7
Improved immensely after half-time to give the Blackburn defence nightmares in-behind. Just needs to add the goals if he wants to keep his place.
Subs
Aldo Kalulu (on for Celina) - Made some threatening runs but wasn’t given the service he needed. 6.
