The Swansea City player ratings as defender has ice in his veins as attacker gets his reward against Charlton

This is how the Swansea City player rated in the 2-1 win over Charlton Athletic at The Valley.

Freddie Woodman 7

Little he could do about the deflected opener and had a couple of nervy moments in the first half, but impressed in the second half when the Swans were under pressure.

Connor Roberts 8

Impressive display from the right-back who covered well when Charlton threatened in the 12th minute while he was superb in attack.

Mike van der Hoorn 8

Another top performance from the Dutchman who made a vital tackle to deny Conor Gallagher in the second half.

Joe Rodon 8

Knew when to play on the deck and clear his lines. Survived a penalty scare, but it was another assured effort from the centre-back.

Kyle Naughton 7

Impressive in the left-back role and got forward well when needed.

Jay Fulton 8

Was a busy man in the middle of the park early on but really grew into the game. Fired over just before the break and made some vital interventions in the latter stages.

Matt Grimes 8

Captain's performance from the man in the middle. Passing range was wonderful while his input was vital in helping the Swans play out from the back.

Andre Ayew 8

Drilled over from a tight angle early on and caused problems when coming in off his right flank. Got his rewards with the winner, his first league goal for Swansea since May 2016.

Yan Dhanda 7

Got his second goal for the Swans to level proceedings after 17 minutes and looked confident thereafter. Replaced in the second half.

Bersant Celina - Star Man 8

Direct runs had Charlton on the back foot on numerous occasions in the opening half and caused the hosts no end of problems. Really good display from the Kosovan.

Borja Baston 7

Hold-up play impressed and the Spaniard kept his cool in the buildup to Dhanda's goal.
