The Swansea City player ratings as one man takes his chance but Man City's quality shows in FA Cup loss

Swansea City fell to a 3-1 defeat in the FA Cup fifth-round clash against Manchester City.

Here's how Steve Cooper's men fared.

FREDDIE WOODMAN 6

Made a good save to deny Gabriel Jesus very early on and pulled off a great one-handed stop to palm away an effort from Ferran Torres. Caught out for Kyle Walker's goal though and not much he could do about the other goals.

JOEL LATIBEAUDIERE 6

Starting against his former club, the youngster made a few clearances and interceptions but found the going tough in the second half.

BEN CABANGO 6

Had a tough time of things in the middle of his side's defence as Man City ran riot. Made a few important blocks though and put his body on the line.

MARC GUEHI 7

Some hugely important interventions in his own box in the opening half as Man City bossed proceedings. The man has proven himself against stellar opposition. Another top performance.

CONNOR ROBERTS 6

Had a real tough time with Benjamin Mendy early on, but got to grips with things and offered a threat himself at the other end as the first half wore on. Lost Raheem Sterling for the second goal though and was replaced soon after.

MATT GRIMES 6

Read play well on numerous occasions in the middle of the park to help stem the tide.

JAY FULTON 6

Unable to be as influential as usual given Man City's dominance. Had to do so much running.

YAN DHANDA 5

Could well have had a couple of assists in the opening half, although spent most of the game chasing opponents. Drilled over before being subbed in the second half.

RYAN MANNING - star man 7

Handed a rare chance to impress, Manning did remarkably well to nullify Man City's threat on his flank in the opening 45 and he did well in possession too. Put himself about and got an assist.

JAMAL LOWE 5

Was forced to do so much defensive work as Man City controlled possession. Had an effort blocked by Eric Garcia in the first half though. Replaced.

JORDAN MORRIS 6

The American was handed his first Swansea start, and he barely had a sniff as the visitors dominated. His pace caused problems on the counter attack, though, although it was a tough time for him to impress! Subbed.

Subs

Kieron Freeman (for Roberts) - Slotted in fairly well in the latter stages of the second half. 6

Morgan Whittaker (for Morris) - Brilliant finish to register his first Swansea goal on what was his debut. 7

Jake Bidwell (for Guehi) - Slotted in at the back. Solid. 6

Paul Arriola (for Lowe) - Barely had a sniff, in truth, but played his part in the Swansea goal. 6

Conor Hourihane (for Dhanda) - A few decent touches as the game petered out late on. 6
