The Swansea City player ratings as Marc Guehi and Ben Cabango impress but others fail to deliver against Huddersfield Town

FREDDIE WOODMAN 6

Unfortunate with the opener as he conceded for the first time in the Championship this season. Got nowhere near the second.

KYLE NAUGHTON 6

On his first league start of the campaign, the defender showed all of his experience on the right of Swansea's back three. Tougher second half and was later replaced.

BEN CABANGO 7

A dominant display from the Welshman in the middle of Swansea's defence.

MARC GUEHI 7 - Star Man

Another top performance from the Chelsea loanee who was a huge figure in both boxes. Looked so comfortable when playing out from the back too.

CONNOR ROBERTS 6

Looked decent on corners and was always an outlet on the right flank.

KOREY SMITH 6

A typically industrious display from the central midfielder who helped create numerous openings too. Won the penalty for Swansea too but could have done better for Josh Koroma's goal.

MATT GRIMES 5

A decent enough showing in the first half but sometimes too wasteful as Swansea chased the game.

JAKE BIDWELL 5

Started brightly and provided support high up the pitch to the likes of Jamal Lowe and Viktor Gyokeres. But wasn't as effective as we've seen him of late.

ANDRE AYEW 6

Making his 100th appearance for the Swans, Ayew coolly slotted home from the penalty spot to level the game. Missed a glorious chance with a header though.

JAMAL LOWE 5

Very lively display from the attacker who should have put Swansea ahead early on only to be denied by Ben Hamer. Ultimately missed numerous chances though and was replaced late on.

VIKTOR GYOKERES 5

On his first league start for the club, the Sweden international looked dangerous in spells, although his end product was a little rusty at times. Subbed

Subs

Kasey Palmer (for Gyokeres) - Won plenty of free-kicks and provided a real threat late on. 6

Liam Cullen (for Lowe) - Not much time to make an impact. 6

Jordon Garrick (for Naughton) - As above. 6
