The Swansea City player ratings as Daniel James steals the show in front of Ryan Giggs against Stoke City

The Swansea City player from the 3-1 win over Stoke City at the Liberty Stadium.

Kristoffer Nordfeldt 7

Had precious little to do until he could only palm James McClean's long-distance strike on to the post and into the back of his own net. A mere spectator in the second half as Stoke went down to nine men.

Connor Roberts 8

Bombed up and down the right flank as usual and tracked back well to thwart Benik Afobe in what was a rare Stoke attack midway through the first half. Inch-perfect cross to Oli McBurnie midway through the second half too. Another great shift.

Mike van der Hoorn 8

A colossus at the back and got himself on the scoresheet by flicking home Wayne Routledge's pile-driver just before half time. Superb effort.

Cameron Carter-Vickers 8

Let nothing get past him and was hugely impressive in the air. Has formed a solid partnership at the back with his captain.

Kyle Naughton 7

An impressive shift from the left-back who linked up nicely with Daniel James at times. Solid enough defensively too. Replaced.

George Byers 7

Another solid showing from the youngster in the centre of the park. Battled hard to get Swansea on the front foot. Almost got on the scoresheet with a free-kick after Bruno Martins Indi had fouled Daniel James.

Matt Grimes 8

As comfortable in possession as ever and was typically slick on the ball, even when Stoke pressed through the middle.

Nathan Dyer 7

Had a few decent opening but couldn't quite get that all-important end product. Decent shift from the experienced winger.

Wayne Routledge 7

A few neat touches and linked up well with his fellow attackers as Swansea threatened to run riot at stages. Replaced in the second half.

Daniel James - Star Man 9

Work-rate was off the scale and had the home fans on their feet with a stunning strike in the 23rd minute. Ran Stoke ragged, with both of their red cards being awarded for fouls on the Welshman. Phenomenal display, in-front of Ryan Giggs too.

Oli McBurnie 8

Did a lot of dirty work in a deeper role and caused problems further up too. Got his 19th goal of the season in all competitions late on.
